Day 71

One time at band camp, these two got along. <3




Kailey loves Hippy.

 So they are now 12, 10, and 7.  They grew up waay too fast.  The toddler years I kept thinking, when is this EVER going to get easier?!  I kept hearing, "It will." Um...still waiting for the eaiser.  I think as they get bigger, they are harder in different ways.  I miss the binkys, I miss holding them at night. I miss rocking them, the footie pajamas, the Johnson and Johnson baby bath.  I miss strollers and walks in the park.  I miss them talking "through" their binkys...and our biggest worry then was...take it out of your mouth when you want to talk. :)  Now we have bigger worries.  Bigger fights.  Hair pulling...kicking...yelling...punching...awesome.  Can they just go back to being little??

This spring break, I vow to have tea parties, to paint nails, toenails, to have fun.  I vow to make a fort out of sheets in the basement with the girls.  I vow to have candy or ice cream for lunch.  We will have whipped cream on our strawberries.  We will play house.  We will color.  We will laugh.  We will dance in the kitchen with the music up loud.

We will bake cakes, and make cookies.

We will laugh.  Til our bellies hurt.  We will be outside, ride bikes, and we will just be.

Together.

Its a wonderful place to be...and time...you need to slow down.
