Grateful for Iowa

Well it wouldn't be the "state of choice" for many.  However, this is where we are.  Seemed like three hours away was soo far.  However, it wasn't that far to begin with, it was just that most times, we would have excuses to not have time, or not have money, or not have time....
...when really, we should have made more time every year.
Looking back, we could have made a better effort...and today, wishing we would have.
Can't be upset about things we cannot change now.
We can just be thankful for what we have for memories and for the time we did have.
Sometimes...life just gets in the way.  We think we are too busy to do a lot of little things.  We think we don't have time to make that call, to make that trip, or to make that stop...because we needed to be somewhere or be on a timeline..
From this day forward, I will try to just go more with the flow, and to make sure that we do what is important.
Life, love, family.
Make time for God, make time for family, make time for ourselves as a family to let each other know that we no matter what....are going to be ok.
Somehow, someway, everything will be ok..or work out, I'm afraid.
Life is a story we create.  I want to make it a good one...and so far, its been good.
Thank you, God, for the good life so far.
Not because we are rich with money...but we are rich with family.
