Day 230

Sometimes...all you need is a bench...and a lake to look out upon to see true beauty.

Grateful for the bench

Whether it was the bench at Whitefish overlooking the 52 stairs, staring at the lake that had the loon family teaching it's 32 loons how to fish...or the bench that he sat behind...the bench, we are thankful for.
I learned this at Whitefish this year...solitude and prayer come hand in hand.
You can find God wherever you look...wherever you go.
You can sit on the bench, behind it, or in front of it, and still see God's beauty.
I was lucky enough to know a man by the name of James Gibbs.  The Honorable James Daily Gibbs.
He was...in short...an amazing man.
He was Papa to my girls, the "Judge" to me, and Dad to Matt.
He sat on this bench at Whitefish a lot during the week we were there.  In his hand you would find his Catholic prayer book.
God Bless you, Judge.
We love you, Papa.
Thank you for letting us be a part of your amazing story.
To the moon.
